The decision
Without an in-game leader, only Balanced is available. Disabled tactical buttons in map preparation reflect that roster restriction.
How it works
A leader also unlocks Aggressive and Methodical plans. Each trades advantages across different duel phases. Leaderless teams also have a harder recovery after conceding the opening death.
Practical interpretation
Consider leadership alongside role coverage and remaining draft choices. Check before confirming the roster: a match does not let you add a new player to unlock a plan.
